My name is Kalani Laimana. I was born in Honolulu Hawaii and moved to the Okanagan Valley when I was in my late teens. Entertainment is #1 in Hawaii, and music and performing have always been a part of my life. 

I have been a DJ for over 20 years as a turntablist, DJing at weddings, concerts and night clubs. I am also a former Sun FM  radio personality and love playing over the airwaves. 

During my career, I had the honour to open for acts such as the British techno group 2 Unlimited, Snow, Tone Loc, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Montreal’s MC Mario, Canada’s DMC Champ DJ Wax, Ice Cube, Chingy, Snoop Dogg, Obie Trice, The Powder Blues Band, 54-40, Kos, Bif Naked, Choclair, Moca Only, Baby Blue Sound Crew and Julie Black. I was also selected to DJ at an exclusive function for Avril Lavigne  in 2008.    

My radio show, The Saturday Night Hotmix with DJ Krucial K “The Flyin’ Hawaiian” ran in the BC interior on KBS and Sun FM for seven years until June of 2005.  During that time, I established myself as one of the top DJs in the Okanagan, and received the listener’s choice award for best Kelowna radio DJ in 2005.
